Even with its traditional design, the “original” Wavemaster free-standing training bag still makes it to the chart of the top models available. It is very stable even with the hardest punches and stays put when filled without being pushed around.  It has a long center pole that serves as a target area approximately 5-1/2 feet in height.  Be careful with the unpadded plastic base because it can be damaged with too much force as this is a no-kick area. The bag when filled can be rolled away or pushed but a bit of a challenge.  All non-linear strikes are okay, but upward linear strikes may ruin the padding where glue holds it in place. But overall, this is still a bargain for a great buy and is highly recommended (costs between $100 and $135)
